Frequently asked questions
Do you repair or re-mesh existing screens?
No. We make and install new screens only. If a frame is bent or the mesh has failed, we measure the opening and quote a new screen made to fit it, which is the only way we can stand behind the result.
Which mesh stops midges?
Standard flyscreen mesh doesn’t reliably stop midges and sandflies; you need a finer weave. We stock midge mesh specifically because half our service area is on the water.
Do you make screens for odd-shaped windows?
Yes. Everything is custom made, including raked, arched and oversized openings, and casement or awning windows that need special fixing.
Can you add a pet door?
Yes, into most new screens and many existing doors, sized for your pet and finished cleanly.
