Security Screens in Wellington Point

Salt air decides which screen you should fit

Wellington Point is about as exposed as the bayside gets, and that narrows the sensible options on a security screen. Marine-grade stainless steel mesh, like SecureView, is built for coastal installs and keeps the view and the airflow while meeting the security standards. Perforated aluminium, like Xceed, is the more affordable alternative and still holds up well a few streets back from the water.

Diamond grille is the classic and the cheapest way to secure a door or window properly, and BasiX is the option to look at where you need fall prevention on upper-floor windows rather than security. We will tell you which of them we would fit at your address, and which ones we would not.

Screens you can leave open all summer

Most people here are not only buying security. They want the door open for the breeze off the bay without the mosquitoes and midges that come with it at dusk.

That is where the mesh choice matters as much as the frame: a security screen on the main doors, insect screens on the windows you sleep behind, and pet-resistant or child-safe mesh where it earns its keep. All of it is made to measure, powder-coated to a colour that suits the house, and fitted by the same team that quoted it.

Quoted and installed from Thornlands

We are fifteen minutes down the road at Thornlands, so we measure, make and install across Wellington Point without subcontracting the work out. If a screen ever needs adjusting, you call us, not a call centre.

One measure visit can cover the screens, the blinds and the outdoor blinds, and you get a single quote for the lot.

What happens after you ask for a quote

Ask for a quote and we will come out to Wellington Point, usually within the week.

We measure each door and window, recommend the mesh and frame for your exposure, and quote a fixed price including installation. Cost depends on the size of the openings, the mesh you choose and the hardware, so we price the actual job. Lead times run to a few weeks once you approve the quote, and we will tell you the current one before you commit.
